DGTEC announce launch of new website.
The brand new DGTEC website went live today, representing a major step forward for DGTEC in preparation for Australia’s switchover to digital television due to be complete by the end of 2013.
"Our online visitors and customers will now experience a more seamless view of the DGTEC business, and get more detailed insight about the range of DGTEC product," says Steve Mannion, DGTEC spokesman and key driver behind the website upgrade.
“But the site is largely focused on getting people excited about the switchover to digital television and providing information on what they need to be ready. We have included ‘Getting Ready for Digital TV’ content, Freeview information and regional schedules – and we expect this to grow. Today’s website upgrade is a huge leap forward, but the website is designed to be scalable and we anticipate many more key evolutions over the next three years in the build-up to the 2013 switchover.”
Part of Hills Industries Limited, DGTEC is an Australian leader in home entertainment solutions and in 2001 was the first company in the world to introduce DVB-T high definition set top boxes, to a consumer marketplace.
